    Until today only tried it on a short runs. However today I managed 28 miles on only half litre of water and 3 of these gels. To me that says it all. No stomach issues and managed to keep going, what more do you want

    Have used now a couple of times on long runs around the 50 minute mark. Takes 10-20 mins to feel the full effect but will go on lasting for a long while. No dodgy belly during or after running which is great. Will definitely be buying again and using from now on. Only slight downside is that it's tough to get every last drop out but otherwise great

    This year I have been running (slowly) without gels up until today - only a banana last week before going 13 miles. Today I had the banana a while before starting, a gel after 45mins and another after 90. Felt better but not sure I felt a performance benefit. My body may have to adapt to the new routine, and I want to run further so I am sure they will help.
    NB. Won't use the caffeine / over sweet alternatives.

    Suggestion: How about a correctly sized armband and waist belt to hold them. Or if anyone has a recommendation please?
